With design cues from our #thinkwider rim profile, the Alta will deliver on road and gravel, taking your riding further, faster and more exciting than ever before.
The hookless rim has a 24mm internal width, allowing the widest choice of tyre widths to suit whichever surface you want to ride; hard-packed Tuscan strade bianche, rocky American fire roads or good old British mud-baths, with the right rubber, the Alta can handle them all. Our confidence-inspiring new IMPACT+ technology introduces a more flexible resin at the rim edge, offering improved protection against impact.
A robust 28-spoke, 2-cross pattern on both front and rear wheels means the Alta will stand up to whatever you throw at it off-road, while the #thinkwider rim profile turns the Alta into a racing calibre wheelset, for those who desire speed on their adventures.
An optional dynamo front hub (SON Delux 12) encourages you to #ridefurther by keeping your lights charged on longer adventures, while high-grade EZO cartridge bearing hubs will aid the wheels in running smoothly. The hubs are fitted for 12mm thru-axles, however, adaptor kits are available for other standards.
