Parcours And Classified Announce Partnership, Bringing Class Leading Aerodynamics Together With Powershift Technology

Some exciting news for January as we announce that Parcours wheels are now available with Classified Powershift technology.

Classified has been one of the most talked about cycling brands of recent years, developing and commercialising innovative drivetrain products for the cycling industry. Their Powershift technology makes the conventional front derailleur a thing of the past and offers electronic shifting, instantaneously, under full load and with uncompromised gear ratio.

Classified has brought an innovative approach to drivetrain design, mirroring our own approach to wheelset development. The Powershift unit itself uses wireless shifting technology that allows a rider to shift gears instantly and under full load. Its first application is the Powershift hub which replaces the front derailleur. The Powershift hub offers unrivalled shift quality, high gearing range and small steps in between gears combining the benefits of 1x and 2x.

We are excited to be able to offer ready-to-ride wheelsets, built to be compatible with Classified Powershift technology. Wheels are available with a Classified rear hub shell, ready to fit a Powershift hub. Builds are available on any of our Monuments product range, covering anything from exploring off road on your gravel bike, to crit racing on your road bike or even time trialling and triathlon.

Ready-to-ride models include:

  • Alta (gravel) - 36mm
  • Ronde (all-road) - 35/39mm
  • Strade (all-round aero) - 49/54mm
  • Chrono - 68/75mm

Mathias Plouvier, co-founder of Classified said of the partnership “At Classified we always want to work with the brands that mirror our desire to push boundaries in all areas of the cycling world, and Parcours are doing that. Our combined knowledge of road and gravel markets, coupled with Parcours expertise in the triathlon space, point to some very exciting developments this year.”

Dov Tate, founder of Parcours said “we’re very excited to be working with Classified on some big projects in 2023 and beyond. They have brought a refreshing and innovative approach to drivetrain design, mirroring our own approach to wheelset development.  It was an easy decision to partner with the Classified team and we can’t wait to bring their shift technology to riders across all the categories we cover.”

We are very excited to be partnering with Classified and we can’t wait to bring their shift technology to riders across all the categories we cover at Parcours. Look out for more announcements later this year!
